MARKET UPDATES
Starting April 1, 2025, you will no longer be charged a Federal Carbon Tax on your natural gas usage.
The Carbon Tax is part of the federal government's carbon polluting pricing system and took effect Jan 01 2020 and is designed to increase every April 1 thereafter until April 2030. It had increased from $3.327 to $4.095 per GJ effective April 01, 2024. For clarity, the Carbon Tax legislation still exists but is currently set at $0. Visit this link for more information.
